The ‘EthiopianGirls4Science’ project aims to promote the access of girls and women to Higher Education in Ethiopia. We are using S-L for WSU (Wolaita Sodo University) students to conduct workshops in different subjects in primary and secondary schools on science related topics and at the same time have a social aspect. We are collaborating and helping to institutionalise S-L at WSU.
Service:
To sensibilize the Ethiopian University Community (teachers and managers) on the use of S-L as a curricular tool. To increase the knowledge and education of primary school girls on the menstrual cycle and menstrual hygiene. To promote the learning of basic sciences such as chemistry through play
